Activities

Winter

The Berwang valley offers a variety of activities in winter, both for sports enthusiasts and those who are looking for relaxation. Skiing on the family-friendly slopes of Berwang or one of the many other ski areas of the Zugspitz Arena, toboggan runs and night toboggan runs, hundreds of kilometres of well-kept winter hiking trails or numerous snowshoe hikes and ski tour options - whatever you want, you will find the ideal activity here.

If it is too cold outside, the public indoor pools in Berwang, Rinnen and Ehrwald offer opportunities for sport, fun and relaxation. The best way to find the latter is, of course, to enjoy a day at the Singer Spa, just a few minutes' walk from our apartments.

Summer

In summer you can enjoy hiking in the mountains or mountain biking in one of the most beautiful bike regions in Austria. E-mountain bikes can be rented from the in-house sports rental to make exploring the area around Berwang even easier. If you want to take it easy, the chair lifts of the Bergbahnen Berwang ring free of stress and sweat to lofty heights. An alternative program or fresh cooling is best found in the Berwang Bear Pool, the beautiful forest swimming pool with mini golf, table tennis, tennis court, volleyball and small-field soccer field, as well as a children's playground and bouncy castle.

Interesting in the area

Berwang is an ideal starting point for excursions. Not far away you will find the Highline B179, Europe's longest pedestrian suspension bridge. Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze, is only a short drive away. Of course, the world famous royal castles Neuschwanstein, Hohenschangau and Linderhof Castle should not be missing from this list.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation on the water, it is worth visiting the numerous lakes in the region - from Lake Heiterwang, over Lake Plans, to Blindsee or one of the breath-taking mountain lakes.

Do you prefer raging waters? Then visit the Partnachklamm near Garmisch or the Höllentalklamm Grainau.

A trip to the Tyrolean capital Innsbruck is also recommended. Sights such as the old town and the golden roof, the Hungerburg Bahn and the Alpine Zoo, the breath-taking backdrop of the Nordkette, Amras Castle, Berg Isel and the Andreas Hofer Museum or the nearby Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens await you.
